{"id":19817,"date":"2021-10-21T14:12:37","date_gmt":"2021-10-21T12:12:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.schneider.im\/?p=19817"},"modified":"2021-10-21T14:12:37","modified_gmt":"2021-10-21T12:12:37","slug":"microsoft-azure-hybrid-benefit-scope-level-management","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.schneider.im\/lu\/microsoft-azure-hybrid-benefit-scope-level-management\/","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft Azure Hybrid Benefit Scope-level management"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Effective October 6, 2021, Scope-level management of the Microsoft Azure Hybrid Benefit is available.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Azure Hybrid Benefit (AHB) is a licensing benefit that helps you reduce Azure costs by using your on-premises Windows Server and SQL Server licenses with Software Assurance (SA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AHB for SQL Server can be used with Azure resources such as SQL Databases or Managed Instances, or SQL Server running in a virtual machine (VM). This means that customers can bring their own licenses with SA &#8211; or Server Subscriptions acquired through Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) &#8211; to pay for the SQL Server part of the resources. Until now, AHB has always been activated at the resource level.
