Both Server Subscription Editions require active Software Assurance (SA) to access and use.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Project Server runs as a service application under SharePoint Server. It is included as part of the SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, though it is licensed separately.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Microsoft is advising to start reviewing the requirements and features that are coming with the SharePoint Subscription Edition release.
