Effective November 1, 2021, the following name changes of Microsoft Azure products take place:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Microsoft Azure Defender for IoT<\/td>\nMicrosoft Defender for IoT<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Microsoft Azure Sentinel<\/td>\nMicrosoft Sentinel<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Microsoft Azure Security Center + Azure Defender<\/td>\nMicrosoft Defender for Cloud<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Microsoft Azure Defender for Storage<\/td>\nMicrosoft Defender for Storage<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

By unifying Microsoft Azure products to the Defender name, Microsoft intends to reflect the integrated security capabilities across identities, endpoints, applications, email, IoT, infrastructure, and cloud platforms.<\/p>\n
