{"id":23861,"date":"2022-05-06T10:40:36","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T08:40:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.schneider.im\/?p=23861"},"modified":"2023-10-26T11:28:44","modified_gmt":"2023-10-26T09:28:44","slug":"microsoft-capacity-reservations-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.schneider.im\/lu\/microsoft-capacity-reservations-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft Capacity Reservations available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Effective March 28, 2022, Microsoft Capacity Reservations for virtual machines are available.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A Capacity Reservation is linked to a specific virtual machine type running in a specific Azure data center and ensures that there is always capacity available when you want to run a virtual machine of that type in that data center.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The reservation can be for any length of time in any public Azure region or availability zone and supports most VM series.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They are priced the same as the Pay-As-You-Go prices for the VM, and if you have a matching Reserved Instance, that will automatically be applied to cover the charges of the Capacity Reservation.
