{"id":24859,"date":"2022-06-30T14:40:23","date_gmt":"2022-06-30T12:40:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.schneider.im\/?p=24859"},"modified":"2023-10-26T11:24:47","modified_gmt":"2023-10-26T09:24:47","slug":"veeam-backup-replication-and-veeam-availability-suite-per-socket-license-end-of-sale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.schneider.im\/lu\/veeam-backup-replication-and-veeam-availability-suite-per-socket-license-end-of-sale\/","title":{"rendered":"Veeam Backup &#038; Replication and Veeam Availability Suite per-socket license end-of-sale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Effective January 1, 2023, Veeam will stop the sale of <em>per-socket perpetual<\/em> licenses for Veeam Backup &amp; Replication (VBR) and Veeam Availability Suite (VAS) for <strong>existing customers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Previously planned for July 1, 2022, Veeam existing customers of per-socket perpetual licenses for Veeam Backup &amp; Replication and Veeam Availability Suite now have another half a year until January 1, 2023, to renew their licenses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You may migrate to Veeam Universal License (VUL), an easy-to-use, per-workload license, available via subscription or perpetual options, for protecting data across on premises and multi-cloud environments.
