{"id":25118,"date":"2022-07-27T17:55:41","date_gmt":"2022-07-27T15:55:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.schneider.im\/?p=25118"},"modified":"2024-05-07T16:24:32","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T14:24:32","slug":"vmware-end-user-computing-pricing-and-packaging-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.schneider.im\/lu\/vmware-end-user-computing-pricing-and-packaging-update\/","title":{"rendered":"VMware End-User Computing Pricing and Packaging Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Effective August 4, 2022, the following price adjustments to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schneider.im\/lu\/vmware-by-broadcom-portfolio-simplification-and-transition-to-subscription\/\">VMware<\/a> products take place:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>A 10% price increase for perpetual licensed Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) software (VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealize) and related bundles\/packages that include these offerings.<\/li>\n<li>Price changes to reflect currency exchange rates to End-User Computing (EUC) offerings transacted in EUR, AUD, GBP, CNY and JPY<\/li>\n<li>Price changes at renewal or with new purchases due to term, billing frequency, and hosting factors.<\/li>\n<li>End of Availability (EoA) for Workspace ONE Express, Workspace ONE Express Plus, Workspace ONE Telecom Add-on, Horizon IBM Capacity, Horizon Cloud Starter Edition, Subscription Upgrade offers from lower editions to Workspace ONE Enterprise with Horizon Universal (previously made EoA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Effective October 2022 usage reporting (November 2022 billing), VMware will remove the 24GB cap in the vRAM usage model for Cloud Providers.
