Extended Support includes security updates at no cost, and paid non-security updates and support. The Fixed Lifecycle Policy applies to many commercial and some consumer products currently available through retail purchase and\/or volume licensing. It provides:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>A defined support and servicing Lifecycle timeline at the time of product launch<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of five years Mainstream Support<\/li>\n<li>An additional period of Extended Support for some products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Extended Support phase follows Mainstream Support. At the supported service pack level, Extended Support includes:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Paid support (Limited complimentary support may be available (varies by product))<\/li>\n<li>Security updates at no additional cost<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Note, that there are more products retiring or reaching the end of support in 2023.
