Effective July 1, 2024, Microsoft Entra Suite<\/strong>, Entra Private Access<\/strong>, Entra Internet Access<\/strong> and Secure Access Essentials<\/strong> are available as standalone<\/strong> products in the Enterprise Agreement (EA<\/strong>), Enterprise Subscription Agreement (EAS<\/strong>), and Microsoft Cloud Agreement (MCA<\/strong>) with SCHNEIDER IT MANAGEMENT as your Cloud Solution Provider (CSP). These new products provide enhanced security<\/strong> and access capabilities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Why these new products?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The way people work has evolved<\/strong> significantly. Rather than being confined to traditional offices, individuals now work from various locations<\/strong>. Applications and data have shifted to the cloud<\/strong>, necessitating a modern network security approach. This new category of network security<\/strong> is known as Security Service Edge (SSE)<\/strong>. For SSE, Microsoft now introduced several new products<\/strong>, that address the security and access needs<\/strong> regarding the requirement to work from different places<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Microsoft Entra Internet Access<\/strong> and Microsoft Entra Private Access<\/strong> form the core of Microsoft\u2019s SSE solution<\/strong>. Global Secure Access<\/strong> serves as the unifying term for both<\/strong> Entra Internet Access<\/strong> and Entra Private Access<\/strong>. It is the unified location<\/strong> within<\/strong> the Microsoft Entra admin center<\/a><\/strong>. Entra Internet Access<\/strong> and Entra Private Access<\/strong>, along<\/strong> with<\/strong> Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps<\/a><\/strong> (a SaaS-security focused Cloud Access Security Broker), provide a unique solution<\/strong> that combines network<\/strong>, identity<\/strong>, and endpoint access controls<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Microsoft Entra Suite <\/strong>is a comprehensive security suite<\/strong> that combines multiple features to safeguard<\/strong> your organization\u2019s data and systems<\/strong>, especially when accessed from various places<\/strong>. Entra Suite is designed to be one comprehensive Security Service Edge (SSE) solution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Licensed per user per month<\/strong>, it can be assigned<\/strong> to any user already licensed with Entra ID<\/a> Plan 1<\/strong> or any plan that includes it, such as Microsoft 365 E3<\/strong>. Additionally, the standalone product (add-on)<\/strong> is available for<\/strong> users with Entra ID Plan 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
