This results in a <strong>-7.4% price adjustment for Euro<\/strong>-based purchases. Those Azure services are priced based on US dollars globally, and the exchange rate for the local currency is set on a monthly basis as before.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>How Does The Price Decrease Apply?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1) Monthly Term<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Price updates apply at the next billing cycle<\/strong> after 2026-02-01 for affected currencies (EUR, CHF, DKK, NOK, SEK).<\/li>\n<li>If your subscription is on <strong>monthly term<\/strong>, you should <strong>see the lower price in your February invoice<\/strong> (assuming your billing date is on\/after 2026-02-01).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2) Annual Term (paid monthly)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In CSP, the <strong>commercial price for the term is fixed at order\/renewal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Currency-based adjustments typically do <em>not<\/em> change the in-term monthly charge<\/strong>. They apply to <strong>new purchases and renewals<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Therefore, if you have an <strong>annual commitment<\/strong>, the <strong>rate generally stays the same until renewal<\/strong>. You would get the <strong>new, lower price<\/strong> when the subscription <strong>renews on\/after 2026-02-01 <\/strong>(or when a new subscription is placed), <strong>not mid-term<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3) Annual Term (prepaid annually)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No change mid-term.<\/strong> The new lower price only applies <strong>at renewal<\/strong> (or for new orders placed on\/after 2026-02-01).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4) Tri-Annual Term (paid full upfront or yearly upfront)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No change mid-term<\/strong>. This is done every 6 months (semi-annually). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schneider.im\/lu\/microsoft-maintains-pricing-no-currency-based-adjustments\/\">In September 2025, there were no currency-based adjustments.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Looking ahead<\/h2>\n<p>The next potential update could occur in September 2026 and will be announced in early June 2026. Any product-specific or consumer price changes will continue to be communicated separately.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What This Means for Customers<\/h2>\n<p>If your organization pays in <strong>EUR<\/strong> or any listed currency, all <strong>cloud-based subscriptions<\/strong> (except for Azure) in CSP will reflect the reduced price from February 1, 2026.
