With the new\u00a0<strong>Cowork mobile experience on iOS and Android<\/strong>, users can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Delegate a task from a mobile device <\/strong>and come back to a finished outcome. This works, for example, on a commute, between meetings, or away from a desk, and syncs with your chats on your desktop and web.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hand off long-running work<\/strong>\u00a0instead of waiting for it to finish on screen, because Cowork executes in the cloud.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Keep one consistent Cowork experience<\/strong>\u00a0across desktop, web, and mobile, with the same skills and integrations available on each surface.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Cowork Skills: reusable intelligence for repeatable work<\/h2>\n<p>Microsoft distinguishes between:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Skills<\/strong>: A Skill is a reusable set of instructions that tells Cowork h<strong>ow to complete a specific task or workflow<\/strong>. This includes the structure, tone, and process you want it to follow. Skills turn one-off prompts into standardized, repeatable work.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Connectors<\/strong>: Connectors link to external data sources and services that Cowork can use during conversations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Microsoft is rolling out\u00a0<strong>built-in Skills<\/strong>\u00a0across Microsoft 365 for common workflows. These work out of the box once Cowork is enabled and require no authoring. They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Creating documents<\/strong>\u00a0in a consistent format and brand-adhering style.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coordinating meetings<\/strong>, including agenda preparation and follow-ups.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conducting research<\/strong>\u00a0with structured outputs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can also\u00a0<strong>create custom Skills<\/strong>. For example, you can create standardized customer briefs, recurring monthly reports, or structured incident write-ups.
