Microsoft Copilot for Sales/Service for educational institutions

Effective May 1, 2024, Microsoft Copilot for Sales and Copilot for Service were introduced for educational institutions. Both products were first introduced on February 1, 2024, and are now expanded to be purchasable by the education sector. Both Microsoft Copilot for Sales and Copilot for Service include Copilot for Microsoft 365.

 

What is Microsoft Copilot for Sales?

Microsoft Copilot for Sales is an AI assistant designed to enhance the productivity of sales teams. It integrates AI and CRM platform insights into Microsoft 365 productivity tools that sellers use daily, such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Word. Some key features include:

  • Maximize Sales Productivity: It helps sellers work more efficiently with AI capabilities that streamline processes and create personalized sales content.
  • Personalize Customer Interactions: The AI capabilities assist in understanding customer needs and personalizing engagements to build stronger customer relationships.
  • Streamline Workflow: Copilot for Microsoft 365 is included in Copilot for Sales. Hence, Copilot for Sales offers seamless experiences with Outlook, Teams, Word, and other Microsoft 365 apps, connecting with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Customization: It can be tailored according to business needs and integrates with CRM platforms like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Salesforce Sales Cloud.

  • Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES)
  • Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA)

The licensing prerequisites for Copilot for Sales/Service (education) are:

  • Microsoft 365 Business Standard/Business Premium/E3/E5, or
  • Office 365 E3/E5
