Microsoft product releases reaching End of Servicing 2024

In 2024, a list of Microsoft product releases will reach their End of Servicing, meaning their end of support, according to a schedule. There will be no new security updates, non-security updates, free or paid assisted support options or online technical content updates.

 

The following product releases, governed by the Modern Policy, will reach their end of support in 2024:

The End of Servicing of these product releases happen according to the Modern Lifecycle Policy of Microsoft. The Modern Lifecycle Policy covers products and services that are serviced and supported continuously. Under this policy, the product or service remains in support if the following criteria are met:

  • Customers must stay current as per the servicing and system requirements published for the product or service
  • Customers must be licensed to use the product or service
  • Microsoft must currently offer support for the product or service.
