Microsoft Stream Plans

Microsoft Stream was a cloud-based enterprise video service, that was included in many Microsoft Office 365 Plans. Microsoft Stream was also available as Standalone Plans (Plan 1 & Plan 2).

Microsoft Stream has since retired. Here is an up-to-date timeline for the retirement:

  • January 31, 2024 – No new Stream live events can be created, any Stream live event scheduled after January 31, 2024 will be automatically removed. See Stream live events retirement FAQ for more info.
  • April 15, 2024 – Stream (Classic) is fully retired & automatically disabled
    • Users & admins no longer able to access or use Stream (Classic)
    • Any remaining content in Stream (Classic) that wasn’t migrated will be deleted
  • February 15, 2025 – Stream (Classic) links and embed codes will no longer redirect to the migrated videos in OneDrive & SharePoint
