In December 2025, Teamup has announced an adjustment to its subscription plan pricing. The new pricing takes effect immediately for any new or reactivated subscriptions and will apply to all existing customer renewals starting January 15, 2026.
Teamup has cited several reasons for this update. Over recent years, the service has continuously expanded its features and functionality, adding significant value for users. At the same time, operational costs have been rising. As Teamup is a Swiss-based company, the recent depreciation of the United States (US) dollar has put financial pressure on its operations. These factors together prompted Teamup to adjust its prices to ensure a sustainable, high-quality service for all customers.
Availability details
- Effective now: New and reactivated subscriptions are billed at the updated (new) pricing.
- Until January 15, 2026 (grace period): Existing customers can change or upgrade their plans while still being charged at the current (old) rates. If a customer switches from monthly to yearly billing before this date, they lock in the old rate for up to one additional year.
- After January 15, 2026: All renewals and plan changes will be charged at the new pricing.
Teamup also expressed appreciation for customers’ continued support and trust. The company emphasizes that it remains committed to providing a reliable, secure, and feature-rich calendar platform to keep teams organized and productive.
Licensing
The upcoming pricing change does not alter any of Teamup’s plan features or the way the service is licensed – it only affects the subscription cost. However, organizations should review their current Teamup subscriptions considering this change, and it may be beneficial to take action during the provided grace period. For example, if you are on a monthly billing cycle, upgrading to annual billing before the January 15, 2026 deadline will allow you to maintain the previous pricing for an additional year.
Our licensing specialists at SCHNEIDER IT MANAGEMENT are available to provide expert advice on these changes. We help you understand how the new pricing structure affects your specific situation and recommend the best subscription strategy moving forward.
