On November 10, 2025, TeamViewer introduced Agentless Access, a new feature of its enterprise platform TeamViewer Tensor. This feature allows companies to remotely access and work on industrial machines and operational technology (OT) systems without installing any software on each device.
The Agentless Access capability is now available as part of TeamViewer Tensor, aiming to simplify industrial remote operations while maintaining strong cybersecurity and compliance in production environments.
What is TeamViewer Agentless Access?
TeamViewer Agentless Access is a remote connectivity feature designed for industrial environments. “Agentless” means that technicians do not need to install a TeamViewer client (software agent) on the target machines to control or monitor them. Instead, machines and devices on the factory floor can be accessed directly through TeamViewer Tensor’s interface. This approach is especially useful for operational technology equipment – such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human–machine interfaces (HMIs) – where installing additional software might be impractical or prohibited.
