Microsoft announced the general availability of BizTalk Server 2020 for volume licensing customers, effective January 15, 2020.
Updated products include:
- Microsoft BizTalk Server 2020 Branch,
- Microsoft BizTalk Server 2020 Enterprise and
- Microsoft BizTalk Server 2020 Standard.
Through the purchase of Microsoft BizTalk Server 2020, customers will have the option to downgrade to
Microsoft Biz Talk Server 2016. Host Integration Server 2020 will be available in the second quarter of this calendar year. Customers using BizTalk Adapters installed with Host Integration Server 2016 can continue to run those same adapters on BizTalk Server 2020.

Effective November 1, 2013, Microsoft BizTalk Server (BTS) 2013 Developer Edition licenses will be available under the Developer Tools license model. Previously offered as a free download in prior BTS versions, the new BTS 2013 Developer Edition offers the full functionality of the BTS 2013 Enterprise Edition, licensed for development and test use only, and includes the newly released Host Integration Server (HIS) 2013 software. Effective April 1, 2013, BizTalk Server 2013 software is available under the Per Core licensing model. Similar to the SQL Server core-based software licenses launched in April 2012, the new BizTalk Server 2013 Enterprise, Standard and Branch edition software licenses will generally be sold in packs of 2 core licenses in most Volume Licensing programs.
