Effective April 1, 2022, Microsoft System Center 2022 is available.
This release includes enhancements that provide best-in-class datacenter operations, hybrid capabilities with Azure and flexible platform to manage infrastructure and is Microsoft’s next release of their Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC).
New features include:
- In System Center Operations Manager, custom roles can be defined by users.
- System Center Operations Manager is integrated with Microsoft Teams to receive alerts and mitigate issues.
- Data Protection Manager users have a folder-level restore for Virtual Machine (VM) backups with recovery points.
- Parallel restoring will be available for multiple VMware VMs managed by a vCenter instance.
