Microsoft 365 Copilot: Adobe Experience Cloud integration

Effective March 26, 2024, Adobe and Microsoft have announced plans to integrate Adobe Experience Cloud with Microsoft 365 Copilot. This will bring Adobe’s AI-capabilities for marketers into their Microsoft 365 Copilot experience. Details on when this will become available have not been shared yet.

Benefits of the Integration

The integration of Adobe Experience Cloud and Microsoft Dynamics 365 with Microsoft 365 Copilot brings the following benefits:

  • Efficiency Boost: Gain easy and fast access to relevant insights and workflows within your daily Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Enhanced Collaboration: Breaking data silos fosters collaboration across teams, streamlining workflows and accelerating campaign execution.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Instant access to strategic insights enables informed decision-making, leading to more effective campaigns.
  • Streamlined Project Management: Notifications enriched with context-rich data keep teams on track, ensuring timely execution of tasks and projects.

Scenarios for Usage

  • Strategic Insights: Marketers can instantly access campaign updates, effectiveness assessments, and approvals status within Outlook, Teams, Word and other Microsoft 365 apps.
  • Content Creation: Leveraging Adobe and Dynamics 365 insights, marketers can craft data-driven briefs, presentations, and updates.
  • Project Management: Using Copilot as a central hub, receive notifications with context-rich marketing data to keep your teams informed and on track.

How It Works

First, you will need to connect your Adobe and Microsoft accounts. After this, the integration works within your Copilot window within Microsoft 365 apps. The process looks like this:

  • User Queries: You input a prompt into Copilot within Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Data Processing: Copilot initiates pre-processing of input prompts using plugins for enhanced specificity, now also accessing data from your Adobe Experience Cloud applications and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Response Retrieval: Based on your data, Copilot receives individualized responses from the large language model (LLM), utilizing plugins to obtain contextualized information. Your data is secure.
  • Delivery of Response: Copilot delivers the response in the same integrated Copilot window within your Microsoft 365 application.
