Microsoft Open License program to be discontinued

Effective January 1, 2022, commercial, government, education, and nonprofit organizations will not be able to buy new or renew software licenses, Software Assurance, or online services through the Open License program anymore. Until then, all customers can continue to purchase products through the Open License program, although we recommend buying through Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) and Open Value (OV) instead.

Additionally, from July 1, 2021, no new SKUs, products, or promotions will be added to the Open License program price list.
