Effective April 1, 2022, Veeam increases the pricing of the following products:
- Veeam Disaster Recovery Orchestrator (standalone purchase) by 9.67%
- Veeam Disaster Recovery Orchestrator purchased alongside Veeam Backup & Replication (DR Pack) by 9.67%
- Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 by 6.25%.
Veeam explains that these price increases became necessary as recent new product versions introduced a variety of new capabilities improving the same product.
Veeam Disaster Recovery Orchestrator V5 introduces support for HPE 3PAR and HPE Primera storage systems, allowing organizations to reliably ensure the continuity of their IT services at any scale through extensible recovery orchestration from CDP replicas, backup and Storage Snapshots. This version also offers an enhanced dashboard – an at-a-glance view of the target environment state to alert of potential recovery time objective (RTO) and recovery point objective (RPO) violations before they impact a recovery. Finally, V5 includes simplified plan workflow as a whole new view of inventory.
Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 has been released recently. In V6, product includes a backup copy to Amazon S3 Glacier (AWS S3 Glacier), Glacier Deep Archive and Azure Archive, enhanced cloud object storage integrations, which already include Amazon Web Services S3 (AWS S3), Microsoft Azure Blob, IBM Cloud, Wasabi and other S3 compatible providers. V6 has added the Self Service Restore Portal for Microsoft 365 environments, empowering IT administrators to securely delegate restores of emails, files and more from one centralized location.
