Effective September 1, 2021, a 10K print job add-on pack is available for Microsoft Universal Print.
Universal Print is a Microsoft 365 subscription-based service for centralizing print management. It is fully integrated with Azure Active Directory and can also be deployed with non-compatible printers by using Universal Print connector software. When it is deployed with Universal Print–compatible printers, it does not require any on-premises infrastructure. For organizations that are committed to Microsoft 365, it replaces the Windows Server print server functionality.

Effective March 1, 2021, Microsoft Universal Print is available within select Microsoft 365 suites and as a standalone subscription. Additional print volume can be added with Add-ons.
Universal Print is a Microsoft 365 subscription-based service that organizations use to centralize print management through the Universal Print portal. For organizations that are committed to Microsoft 365, it replaces the Windows Server print server functionality. It allows IT departments to configure their organization’s printers so that employees can print seamlessly from any device, and for organizations to lower the cost of printing, while supporting their business needs.
List of subscriptions that include Universal Print:
- Microsoft 365 Enterprise F3, E3, E5
- Microsoft 365 Education A3, A5
- Windows 10 Enterprise E3, E5
- Windows 10 Education A3, A5
- Microsoft 365 Business Premium
- Universal Print standalone subscription
For customers without a subscription that includes Universal Print, the service can be licensed standalone. The standalone subscription does not come with, but requires, Azure Active Directory.
Universal Print comes with a pool of print jobs that are available to all users who have a license. Each Universal Print license includes 5 print jobs per month which are pooled. For example, a subscription with 1,000 licensed users will have 5,000 jobs per month available to all users. Unused print jobs expire at the end of each month.
Additional print volume
Customers can add additional volume add-on packs (500 print jobs each) to their standard pool of print jobs.
