  • Expert Training: IBM will train over 1,000 security consultants on Palo Alto Networks products, ensuring expert migration, adoption, and deployment services.
  • Acquisition and Collaboration: Palo Alto Networks will acquire IBM’s QRadar SaaS assets, and both companies will work together to ensure a seamless transition for customers to the Cortex XSIAM platform.

 

Joint Ventures and Innovation

  • Joint Security Operations Center: A managed Security Operations Center (SOC) will be created, along with a Cyber Range for immersive customer experiences. A cyber range is a virtual environment designed for cybersecurity training, testing, and research.
  • DevSecOps Market Expansion: Prisma Cloud, a cloud-native security platform developed by Palo Alto Networks, will expand its existing integrations with current and future IBM DevOps offerings, including cloud-native security built for Red Hat OpenShift and Ansible.
