Introducing Generative Credits
Adobe is introducing a new credit-based system for generative AI in its Creative Cloud offerings. The aim is to make it easier for users to leverage the power of the Firefly Image model in their creative work. Starting immediately, several Adobe plans, including the Firefly web application, Express Premium, and various Creative Cloud paid plans, will provide users with a supply of “fast” Generative Credits.
These Generative Credits act as tokens, allowing users to transform text prompts into images and vectors within applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, and the Firefly web application. Once users have used up their plan-specific “fast” Generative Credits, they can still generate content at slightly slower speeds. Alternatively, they can purchase additional “fast” Generative Credits through a Firefly paid subscription plan. In November 2023, Adobe plans to introduce subscription packs that will also enable users to buy more “fast” Generative Credits.
Firefly APIs enable organizations to customize AI models
Adobe is collaborating with Enterprise customers to allow customization of models with their unique assets and brand-specific content. Moreover, customers gain access to Firefly APIs, enabling seamless integration of Firefly’s capabilities into their existing systems and automation processes.

Customers are able to access Firefly for Enterprise through Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Express and Adobe Experience Cloud.
