Microsoft Kaizala retirement

Effective August 31, 2023, Microsoft Kaizala retires.

This is a phone number-based, simple and secure work management and mobile messaging app for organizations.

There are two versions of Microsoft Kaizala available – the free Microsoft Kaizala App and Microsoft Kaizala Pro, which both retire.

Between now and then, current Kaizala customers experience no change in service and may add new users to existing tenants as needed. However, as of August 26, 2022, no new tenants can be onboarded to Kaizala and new Microsoft 365 customers are onboarded directly to Microsoft Teams for chat, meetings, and calling.

Customers are encouraged to start planning the transition to Microsoft Teams. Microsoft is offering free Teams Exploratory licenses that allow Azure AD customers to test Teams for 12 months.
