Effective April 1, 2022, the Microsoft Power Apps per app plan product family for all segments is no longer available. A simplified licensing model, Microsoft Power Apps pay-as-you-go, was introduced previously.
With the Microsoft Power Apps per App plan, you run one app or portal per user, stacking licenses for access to each additional app as their needs change. Now, that the per App plan is being dissolved, Microsoft suggest switching to the Microsoft Power Apps pay-as-you-go licensing model.
The pay-as-you-go plan introduces the flexibility for customers to pay for Power Apps based on usage – covering authenticated users of internal apps and portals. Pay-as-you-go allows you to share a Power Apps app with any user in your organization and then only pay if and when they use that app. Charges are incurred against a Microsoft Azure Subscription based on the number of unique apps or portals a user runs each month.
