Oracle Database 21c available

Effective January 13, 2021, Oracle Database 21c is available on Oracle Cloud.

Oracle Database 21c contains more than 200 new innovations, such as immutable blockchain tables, In-Database JavaScript, native JSON binary data type, AutoML for in-database machine learning (ML), and persistent memory store, as well as enhancements for in-memory, graph processing performance, sharding, multitenant, and security.

Additionally, effective January 13, 2021, Oracle APEX (Application Express) Application Development, a new low-code service for developing and deploying data-driven enterprise application, is available.

Oracle Database 19c available

Oracle announced the availability of Oracle Database 19c. The final long-term support release of the Oracle Database 12c and 18c family of products is now available on Linux, Solaris, Exadata and LiveSQL.oracle.com platforms. Oracle Database 19c offers customers the best performance, scalability, reliability and security for all their operational and analytical workloads. ‘Long term support’ means that Oracle Database 19c comes with 4 years of premium support and a minimum of 3 years extended support.

Oracle Virtual Machines available in Microsoft Windows Azure

Virtual Machines including licenses for Oracle software will be generally available in Microsoft Windows Azure on March 12, 2014. These Virtual Machines are Windows Server VMs made available in the Windows Azure Gallery in which Oracle software has been preinstalled.
