What is changing?
Microsoft introduces a new Microsoft 365 Copilot promotion focused on multi-year commitments. From June 1, 2026, eligible CSP customers receive 15 percent off when they buy a three-year Copilot subscription with at least 300 licenses. The discount applies to the local list price in each market.
The promotion must be applied at the time of purchase on a new qualifying subscription. It cannot be applied retroactively. At the end of the three-year term, pricing returns to the then-current standard Microsoft 365 Copilot pricing unless the subscription is renewed under a new offer.
What is Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Microsoft 365 Copilot is an AI assistant built into Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. It combines advanced AI models with an organization’s permissioned Microsoft Graph work data to deliver context-aware help inside everyday tools. Copilot runs within the customer’s Microsoft tenant and respects existing security and compliance controls, including sensitivity labels, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), identity, and governance policies. It is licensed as a paid add-on to qualifying Microsoft 365 subscriptions.

Why a multi-year Copilot commitment matters now
Many organizations are moving from Copilot pilots to broad adoption. A multi-year commitment turns variable AI spend into a fixed, plannable cost. The locked rate reduces budget risk as adoption grows across teams. A three-year term also simplifies procurement and renewal planning. For finance and information technology (IT) teams, this means clearer cost control and fewer surprises as AI use scales.
What organizations should do now
- Review current Microsoft 365 Copilot usage and license counts
- Assess whether a three-year commitment fits your AI strategy
- Validate eligibility through the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) new commerce platform
- Calculate your planned seat count against the minimum 300-license threshold
- Confirm whether nonprofit, education (EDU), or government (Gov) SKUs apply, as these are excluded
- Plan your purchase before the offer closes on September 30, 2026
