What is Microsoft 365 Copilot Business?
Microsoft 365 Copilot Business is an AI assistant for organizations with up to 300 users. It extends the Microsoft 365 Copilot experience, once aimed at large enterprises, to the small and medium-sized business (SMB) segment, working directly inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Microsoft launched it worldwide on December 1, 2025, and organizations can add it to Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard, or Premium, or buy it as a bundle with those plans.
Promotions available now
Two Microsoft 365 Copilot Business promotions are available now for Commercial customers through the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program:
- Microsoft 365 Business Basic and Copilot Business bundle – 25% off: for up to 300 users, worldwide, from July 1 to December 31, 2026
- Microsoft 365 Copilot Business add-on – up to 15% off: for organizations with up to 300 users, now valid through December 31, 2026
Both discounts are applied automatically at purchase for eligible customers.
What changed since the previous promotion
The previous bundle promotions ended June 30, 2026: the Business Standard and Copilot Business bundle (up to 35% off) and the Business Premium and Copilot Business bundle (up to 25% off). In their place, Microsoft introduced the Business Basic bundle, moving the discounted entry plan to the most affordable Microsoft 365 Business tier. The standalone Copilot Business add-on discount continues, now valid through December 31, 2026 instead of June 30, 2026.
How to license Microsoft 365 Copilot Business
- Add-on license: add Microsoft 365 Copilot Business to an existing Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard, or Premium subscription for the users who need it
- Bundled plan: buy a Microsoft 365 Business plan together with Copilot Business in one package, currently discounted for Business Basic
Both options apply for up to 300 users, in line with Microsoft 365 Business licensing limits.
