The Microsoft Fabric SKU Estimator helps you quickly understand which Fabric capacity SKU you may need based on your data size, workloads and usage patterns.
The estimator asks for some details, such as compressed data size, number of tables, daily batch cycles and the Fabric workloads you plan to use (for example Data Factory, Spark, Data Warehouse, Real‑Time Intelligence or Power BI). Based on this, it generates a non‑binding capacity suggestion to help you avoid both under‑sizing and over‑sizing your Fabric environment.
Even though it is only a preview and not a price quote, the tool is very helpful for early design work, RFP preparation and budgeting. It reflects real‑world architectures and Microsoft’s recommended practices, reducing planning time from days to minutes.
