Effective October 8, 2025, TeamViewer has announced that its enterprise solution TeamViewer DEX (Device EXperience) now supports migration processes for organizations transitioning from Microsoft Windows 10, which reached end-of-life on October 14, 2025.
What Is TeamViewer DEX?
TeamViewer DEX is a remote device management platform designed for enterprise IT environments. It enables organizations to monitor, control, and support large fleets of devices from a central location.
DEX is part of TeamViewer’s suite of professional tools for secure and scalable remote operations.
Why This Matters
Microsoft officially ended support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. No further security updates or technical support are provided. For options to get Windows 10 Extended Security Updates (ESU), read this article: https://www.schneider.im/microsoft-windows-10-cloud-enabled-extended-security-updates/.
With 41% of global device operating systems still running Windows 10, hundreds of millions of devices lost support on October 14, 2025.

Organizations must migrate to a newer operating system, such as Windows 11, to maintain security and compliance.
TeamViewer DEX helps with this transition by:
- Managing devices remotely across multiple locations
- Automating upgrade processes
- Monitoring migration progress
- Reducing manual workload for IT teams
This is especially valuable for companies with large, distributed device infrastructures.
