What is changing?
- LAS is a new cloud-based licensing solution replacing traditional Citrix legacy licensing.
It introduces modern activation modules and simplifies the overall Citrix licensing experience. - Citrix will end support for file‑based licensing on April 15, 2026.
- After this date, file‑based licenses will no longer be recognized. All customers must use the License Activation Service (LAS) for activation and ongoing license management.
- Citrix strongly encourages customers and partners to transition to LAS ahead of this deadline to avoid any disruption or downtime.
