Effective December 1, 2022, Microsoft Azure DevOps Server 2022 is available.
Azure DevOps supports collaborative features and set of processes that bring together developers, project managers, and contributors to develop software.
You can work in the cloud using Azure DevOps Services or on-premises using Azure DevOps Server. Azure DevOps Server is built on a SQL Server back end and supports integration with GitHub Enterprise Server repositories. Customers usually choose the on-premises version when they need their data to stay within their network. Or, when they want access to SQL Server reporting services that integrate with Azure DevOps Server data and tools.
A direct upgrade to Azure DevOps Server 2022 is supported from Azure DevOps Server 2019 or Team Foundation Server 2015 or newer.
