Effective January 1, 2023, Veeam will stop the sale of per-socket perpetual licenses for Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) and Veeam Availability Suite (VAS) for existing customers.
Previously planned for July 1, 2022, Veeam existing customers of per-socket perpetual licenses for Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Availability Suite now have another half a year until January 1, 2023, to renew their licenses.
You may migrate to Veeam Universal License (VUL), an easy-to-use, per-workload license, available via subscription or perpetual options, for protecting data across on premises and multi-cloud environments. With the migration to VUL, you migrate at a discounted rate and renew migrated workloads with an out-year discount as long as you are a Veeam customer.
