Effective January 7, 2022, device licenses are available for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Guides and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Remote Assist.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Guides is a mixed-reality application for Microsoft HoloLens that helps operators learn during the flow of work by providing holographic instructions when and where they are needed.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Remote Assists empowers technicians to collaborate more efficiently by working together from different locations on HoloLens, HoloLens 2, Android, or iOS devices.
A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Guides device license allows multiple operators to use Dynamics 365 Guides on a single device under a shared user account. There are no limits on the number of users who may use a licensed device, and all users use a shared login rather than their own credentials. Note that the Guides device license only allows a user to operate a guide, rather than to author one, but the Remote Assist user and device licenses give access to the same functionality.
